The Cast

The Carolina Skyline Players is an ensemble of many talented actors. These actors who have been involved in one or more performances for the Carolina Skyline Players are shown below with the abbreviation of the plays that they have participated in. Click on each picture to expand it.

Brandon.jpgBrandon Barrans (DLOM)
Brandon made his acting debut in 2008, is on the track team at Kernersville Middle School, attends First Christian Church and is a member of Boy Scout Troup 948 and an Assistant Senior Patrol Leader.

Pam is married to Ron, has two sons, Chris and Brandon and recently worked for Wachovia Mortgage. She has a Directing / Acting degree in Theater Arts and over 30 years of dramatic experience acting and directing numerous events.

Ron is married to Pam, has two sons, Chris and Brandon. He owns and manages Chosen Path Bookstore.  Ron has been active in Theatre Arts since 1982, participating in more than 50 shows.  He loves his family and playing the violin.

bear.jpgJoseph “Bear” Bingham (OFHC, YCGTFH, DLOM, TEOA)
Bear has acted in his fourth Carolina Skyline Player show in 2008. He is a member of JCAMM (Jesus Christ Ambassadors Motorcycle Ministry). After being saved, Bear took his middle name of Joseph which means “God will add”.

Allen is a North Carolina native, living in Kernserville with his wife, Olinda, and their daughter and son. He hold black belts in five styles of Martial Arts. Allen enjoys spending time with his family and making movies. He has helped produce Easter plays at FCCM.

Mike and his wife, Daphne, live in Winston-Salem with their daughter. He has peformed in four dinner theatres and works with the youth and praise band at FCCM in High Point.

deric.jpg Deric Cook (MAAF, OFHC)
Deric, his wife, Carrie, and their daughter live in Walkertown. He is a photograher/videographer and a landscape artist; and has used his talents recently on mission trips. Deric has experience in acting and singing in various church and school dramas.

Pat.jpg Pat Cook (DLOM)
Pat has lived in the Winston-Salem area for 28 years and teaches English, History, Drama and Bible to middle school students at FCA. She enjoys photography, writing, art, youth drama camps and creating special memories with her grandchildren.

scott.jpg Scott Goad (MAAF, OFHC, YCGTFH, DLOM, TEOA)
Originally from Ohio, Scott has lived in N.C. for 13 years with his wife, Laura, and their two grown sons and two grown daughters. Scott manages Sales I.T. for Lorillard. He has performed in many skits and dinner theatres, including one he wrote and directed.

Living in Kernersville, Sage, who is home schooled, is active in Girl Scouts, babysits and attends art and drama classes at The Gray Wing Studio. In her spare time, she helps her Mom in her hair studio “Rapunzel’s Hair Design”.

patti.jpg Patti Hricinak Sheets (OFHC, YCGTFH, DLOM)
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Patti and her husband, Vern, spent twenty years in Seattle before settling in Germanton with their daughter and son. They own the Gray Wing Studio. Patti is a painter, artist and art teacher and enjoys acting and directing.

Richard has a wife and three kids and works in the banking industry. His spare time is spent riding his motorcycle with JCAMM (Jesus Christ Ambassadors Motorcycle Ministry) or playing bass guitar with a southern rock/Christian praise & worship band.

karen.jpg Karen Puterbaugh (MAAF, YCGTFH, DLOM)
A Winston-Salem native, Karen has had a life-long love of music and drama. She enjoys acting, directing and writing skits, reading and cycling. Karen has a son, daughter and son-in-law and new grandchild due in September.

Born near Lake Huron, MI, Shirlee has lived in the Triad for 35 years. She has a son and owns Absolute Fiber Glass Repair, Inc. Shirlee began acting in elementary school and has performed in numerous skits and a few dinner theatres.

Jim and wife, Elizabeth, have three daughters. He has worked with teens for over 12 years and is currently a Minister at the High Point campus of First Christian Church.  Jim loves laughter and works to bring it to each dramatic role and to everyday life.

deanie.jpg Deanie Simmons (MAAF, OFHC, DLOM, TEOA)
Deanie and husband, Tom, live in Colfax. They have two daughters, one son and seven grandchildren. Her hobbies include painting and riding horses. Deanie has acted in skits, dinner theatres and Christmas and Easter productions.

Born and raised in Germanton, Judy lives in Kernersville with her husband, Van. She has many years of dramatic experience in writing, directing and acting in numerous skits and dinner theatres. Judy is employed by Paychex, Inc.
